About to go on my March 2013 Tour, ALL MUSIC ON MY BANDCAMP PAGE is Pay What You Want through March 7 to raise some gas money, y’all. And hell, you can even paying NOTHING - totally free - if you want! I’m just. tHAT. CRAZY.
If you’ve ever wanted any of my music, or maybe just a thanks for all the free stuff I’ve already released this year, now is probably the time to do it.
Support Adam WarRock you guys.
It’s time! After kHill’s computer died, and mine got stolen, and us starting over the entire album from scratch, our follow-up to The Browncoats Mixtape is finally here!
Sampling the orchestral scores from the Harry Potter movies, we’ve created a mixtape focused on the Harry Potter franchise, from the point of view of the more cunning and ambitious students in the House of Salazar Slytherin. Featuring indie hip hop great Ceschi Ramos, as well as the homies Tribe One, Sulfur of the ThoughtCriminals and Dr. Awkward, it’s among our best work yet.
Go check out the website, designed by the cover artist for the album, the amazing Matthew Warlick. You can also stream two singles from the album, “Wands Out” and “Ambition (Feat. Ceschi Ramos).”
Today I learned that the people I follow are SUPER into Fall Out Boy.
I feel like you can tell the relative age of your followers by which ones make the Fall Out Boy posts.
lol I went to see them when I was like… 19? And honestly? They’re fucking awesome in concert, so if they go on tour again you can bet I’ll be there. I’m 25 now. :|
I hear they’re supposed to be playing a bunch of cities near here, so it sounds like there’s a good chance you’ll be able to see them again (I knows what it feels like to wait years and years for your favorite band to go on tour again T_T).
I just remember bands like FOB and MCR coming out when I was a senior in high school and it seemed like all of the underclassmen loved the shit out of them and I just didn’t get it. I think that was around the time I started becoming an old fogey and not really paying attention to what was currently happening musically, so they sort of feel like they’re “after my time” in a weird way :p
I went to a P!ATD concert when I was 22, and as awesome as the show was, I felt SO WEIRD and old and out of place there aaaaugh I can’t imagine seeing them or FOB at my age.
The funny thing is, I would not have deigned to listen to Fall Out Boy or Panic when I was 22. (Though I couldn’t technically listen to Panic until I was 23?) I was way too cool for that shit (in theory). And also spending all of my time listening to drum-n-bass. It wasn’t until my friend sucked me into bandom via MCR when I was 26 that I started listening to either of them.
Having been to concerts for both of them at about that age, Panic’s was the worst, as far as teenage girls screaming out your eardrums and parents there with tiny children goes. The FOB show was just a normal stadium show. And you know, now I’m 30 and have absolutely no shame, so you better believe I’m going to be all over that. (And my boyfriend is going to make fun of me the WHOLE TIME, so you’re not alone, internet.)
I was really big into FOB and Panic! when I was in HS and right afterwards. FOB got big during my Junior and Senior year, and Panic! got big during my Senior year. So it will be nice to relive the good memories that I have from HS, I might even get to see them live. I did get to see All American Rejects in 06, so if I see FOB, Panic!, Linkin Park, and Dashboard Confessionals I will have seen all the music I listened to in HS.
The Fifth Element OST - Diva Plavalaguna
OMG THIS. YES.
Best opera ever.
This was the greatest part of the movie.
Panic! at the Disco || Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off

i- I THOUGHT THIS WAS GONNA BE ABOUT HOW GOD DAMN MAJESTIC AND FULL OF SWAG THEY ARE OH MY GOD MY HEART HURTS
Gangnam Style (Glee Cast Version) [HALF SPEED]
it sounds like demons at a strip bar and you walk in because demons took you capture and they need to take u too their boss but the boss is at a strip bar and you walk in and everythings in slow mo and theres hot demons pole dancing and you look around and theres gross demons shouting and throwing money and off to the side with a cigar is a big demon guy with a suit whispering something to a waitress and you look at them and they glare at you and then at your handcuffs
#i thought that description was an exaggeration #but no#that’s the perfect description for this
Maroon 5 did a cover of “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and it is the most seductive children’s song I have ever heard.
I think this is my new theme song.
Sarah Slean (w/ Symphony Nova Scotia) - Parasol.
I didn’t know who Sarah Slean was until an hour ago when Nomie sent me a gchat message meant for someone else. Now I’m all kinds of in love.
I didn’t know who Sarah Slean was before this, but now I am more then a lot impressed and in awe.
