“Y: The Last Man Rising” [Fan Film]
There is suppose to be a film based off Bryan K. Vaughn’s Y: The Last Man. The comic which details a world hit with a plague that wipes out every last man except for Yorick and his pet monkey Ampersand has found itself in pre-development standstill while attempting to transition to film. But Christian Cardona decided to take matter into his own hands by directing this really cool fan film.
The film stars Travis Quentin Young as Yorick Brown, Kent King as Agent 355, and Rebecca Marshall as Hero Brown.

Y: The Last Man #16, January 2004, written by Brian K. Vaughan, penciled by Paul Chadwick
I want this cover as a poster.
Honestly, if you haven’t read Y: The Last Man, you should.
I concur. It is an amazing series.
Why? I felt that this wrapped so much up and in the end Yorick was still Yorick. And he had pretty much saved the world.
I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE, VERTIGO
Reason #43,632 You Should Read This
This is an awesome series.
Yorick, of the sharp and accurate observations.
(Y: The Last Man #13)
Oh, I see what you did there. You think that’s sooo clever, don’t you? …okay, it’s pretty clever.
(Y: The Last Man #14)
What can I say, I do like these kinds of panels. :D
(Y: The Last Man #12)
Has a way with words and a well developed sense of drama, this boy. Getting in a little Shakespeare at birth has obviously paid off. LOL Allison and Ampersand in the background. (I have sworn not to follow up comments with sadfaces indicating sad things to come, but just so you know, it’s really hard. Otoh, the abundance of sadfaces would get kind of hilarious after a while, thereby defeating their own purpose.)
(Y: The Last Man #9)
